Public Relations is a committee that informs the public about recovery from the
disease of addiction through the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Narcotics
Anonymous.
We provide community awareness of what NA is, as well as how, when and where we are
available. We accomplish this through presentations, our web site and responding to
requests for speakers and/or information about NA from the community.
Public Relations Presentations
Inland Lakes Unity Area of Narcotics Anonymous Public Information Committee provides
presentations about Narcotics Anonymous to the public.
Presentations are available for all members of professional, school, clergy, health care
and correctional facilities.

Next meetings are March 14 and April 11 in conjunction with PR, prior to ASC beginning at 11 am.
The purpose of an Hospitals & Institutions (H&I) subcommittee is to carry the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous meetings. H&I meetings/presentations, except for those in longer term facilities are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program.

Next subcommittee meeting will be February 27th at the Light at the End of the Tunnel meeting at 441 Garfield Ave. Wisconsin Rapids, at 7pm
and March 27th at 130 before the Dance at Camp Alexander 6410 Hwy 13 South Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494.
Activities is a committee that coordinates and hosts several fellowship-focused events throughout the year. These events are a place where a recovering addict can meet and enjoy living life without the use of drugs while building unity within the fellowship.

Is responsible for the development, purchase and sale of ILUC approved merchandise (clothing, pins, cups, etc.)

The duties of the literature committee are to order and distribute literature for the
Area's groups on a monthly basis. The committee also stores inventory while maintaining
and updating meeting directories.

Next subcommittee meeting will be in Appleton at the Genesis Club Feb. 20th after the 6pm meeting along with Merchandise and March 21st @ 530pm at the Harmony Cafe in Appleton before the NA meeting. I will also be having a sub-committee meeting March 4th 1 hour before the Thursday Fond du Lac Meeting, on the corner of Hwy V and Pioneer Rd..
Is responsible for holding Area campouts and Retreats. Has the primary purpose of promoting Area unity, and a secondary purpose of raising funds. Shall be responsible for putting on the Retreat over Easter Weekend. Is responsible for the creation and distribution of flyers (approved by the ILUC ASC) announcing Area campouts and the retreats.

Deals with the policies and procedures of the ILUC. General polices are addressed in our Traditions and Concepts, however the applications of these by the ILUC are concern of this subcommittee. Is responsible for the maintenance and revision of our Area Guidelines.
